Home and Household
This work will be on display at Centrespace Gallery in Bristol, 10-15th July. Please do get in touch if you'd like to join us at the private viewing 6-10pm 10th July, all are welcome!
This is a series of work experimenting with the different types of printmaking including copper plate etching, screen printing, relief printing with retro children's stamps and creating my own stamps from impressions of things like Calpol bottle tops.
The work focuses on rituals, routines and objects from domestic life. I have been inspired by the roles we take on in this sphere and how children replicate these within their play. I am interested in how observing and joining in with my daughter's play I've seen domestic life in a different way, full of the extremes of emotions, care, and the absurdity of some of the things we do too.

Sicilian Spring Flower Series
This is a set of artworks inspired by a trip I made to Sicily in 2022 when I walked the 6 week ancient pilgrimage route across the mountains from Palermo to Messina. The pieces are all inspired by the wild flowers and meadows I saw along the route. They are a combination of watercolours and linocut prints.

Greece, farming landscapes and garden plots
I am in the very early stages of creating this project and have started a large acrylic painting of a garden plot from a house I stayed in during a visit to mountainside village of Zagora in Pelion, Greece. I have spent many years researching subsistence farming in Greece and have spent time in Crete, Volos and Kamena Vourla interviewing Greek farmers who remember pre-mechanised farming practices. I have found the people and the landscape a constant source of inspiration and am looking to create pieces that convey the connection between the Greek people, farmed garden plots, and the identity of the household. More to come on this one soon...
